Glenmorangie is known for its excellent bouquet of aromas, but is also characterised by a special delicacy and lightness. Lasanta is first aged in bourbon barrels, followed by a post-finish process in sherry barrels, which gives it a rich, nutty taste. The aroma has hints of chocolate-covered raisins, honeycomb, toffee, citrus and creme brulé. The flavours include sherry, orange, nuts, toffee, chocolate, spices, and leather. The aftertaste is long, with spicy orange and chocolate-covered hazelnuts.
